these Baking powder Biscuits came out so good ! Gluten-Free try these:
1 1/2 c. brown rice flour…1/2 c. tapioca flour…4 tsp. baking powder…1/8 tsp.salt…3Tbs.safflower oil…1c. unsweetened applesauce
preheat oven to 425 degress. Mix dry ingredients. Sprinkle oil on top and mix well till crumbly ( I used my stand mixer with pastry blender). Mix in applesauce and blend until blended. Spoon heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. With spoon, shape into biscuit. Bake 15-18 minutes until slightly browned. Yummy I ate them with apple butter then for lunch with a bowl of chili..
more coconut milk this time I made sweetened whipped cream…Here’s what I did 1 can coconut milk in fridge over night. Take 5 heaping tablespoons of the thick cream…1 Tbs. honey…1/4 tsp. vanilla… couple dashes of Siagon Cinnamon by McCormick…. 4 Tbs. coconut milk (I used So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Milk) I used my mixer high speed till thick fluffy creamy deliciousness was achieved! Now if you don’t need to do the sugar free thing you could use powder sugar…but try it my way first!
