Time for a revamp for these pieces all Michele Busch purchased in the last 9 years by a client of Joni’s Boutique.  The blue necklace and the pink were made so long ago I barely remembered them!  I have revamped some other pieces for this same customer some of the pieces I have restyled have not been mine….but this time all 4 pieces were my designs!  Her taste has changed over the years and she has found she likes bolder longer necklaces .  The rose quartz and smokey topaz necklace had the biggest transformation since she decided she just doesn’t wear much pink so I suggested swapping the pink for aqua…well check out the changes…

Here it is all laid out,  I kept the smokey topaz pieces that use to be the back part of the necklace and now they are a focal point in the front with a layer of chain…the aqua chalcedony teardrops give this piece a beautiful beach tone…I miss the ocean right now…

Well this is a total redesign… I used the smokey topaz from the original piece and some of the sterling,  isn’t it beautiful…she should get a lot of wear out of this new redesign.

This was a one of a kind made of Sodalite and Lapis with sterling accents…

I kept the pendant and polished the sterling.  I used all of the original stones and added some new stones and brushed silver chain…new life!

This was also a simple one of a kind still so pretty I kinda hated taking it apart…but it turned out to be my favorite redesign… this piece has a sterling disk between each bead champagne czech crystal and green turquoise with a sweet shell pendant…but this little girl grew up….

I started gathering pieces together….

This little girl grew up don’t you think?  I love the little shell dangle…all the pretty green turquoise has been joined with great silver chain, champagne crystal, brighter turquoise and chalcedony also some beautiful Amazonite…Can you see why it is my favorite?

This piece was a popular favorite in my Line a few years back…it’s made up of sterling, agate, abalone, and carved soapstone.  The customer has added orange into her wardrobe and was wanting something she could wear with oranges and earthtones…

Well this little pretty is ready for it’s debut with some orange clothes bring on summer…

Well new life for a new wardrobe…I’m excited to see what my customer thinks of her transformed redesigns!!! The style with the agate pendant was one of my designs the other 2 were not but I gave them new style too.

So many cute outfits sold today during my Trunk Show at Pappagallo!  Here are just a few of the outfits and pieces that sold…Kinsley put this cute outfit together for a client and she loved it…along with  one of my vintage key necklace statement pieces!

This great Spring to Summer top sold and so did my cluster bracelet of white gold and burlap…shown here at the top.

Love this animal print dress…a client had bought it a couple weeks ago and picked out this necklace with gold chain and vintage black and white resin accented with mother of pearl drops…the necklace looks like it blends in the way we are holding it but it stood out when the client had the dress on!   And she said I needed a necklace for this dress!

This top just makes me think of the beach…always a happy color for Spring and Summer. The customer bought the top some jeans and this necklace I designed with a lapis donut and a carved soapstone donut, knotted leather with a variety of vintage glass and stones finished off with brass chain…this was one of my favorites I designed for this Trunk Show. And I was so happy someone loved it as much as I did!   I was happy to meet this sweet customer who had bought several of my designs at the Plano Pappagallo Trunk Show in December.  She drove all the way from Garland after work to Frisco for the trunk show!  She loves to shop Pappagallo…and she loves Kinsley who helps her put all her fabulous outfits together!  I’m so happy I got to meet her this time and could explain the stories behind some of my pieces which she really appreciated… she purchased several new necklaces , bracelet sets, earrings and new clothes and I had a great time working with her!

 Love orange and grey and slate blue this piece went so well with many tops at the shop.

Originally I designed a very similar piece for myself with greys, blues, yellow a touch of green and slate.  I received so many comments on mine… I made a few more, each a little different and they have all sold.  This one I made for the Trunk Show, the customer who bought this piece choose an outfit of black pants and a black top with a funky grey sweater shrug the necklace just stood out and finished the outfit beautifully she got some fab earrings and a set of stretchie bracelets to tie it all in!  She bought about 17  pieces to match every outfit she had picked out… I had so much fun helping out and she looked great in her new Spring Wardrobe

Fig Finale Sale was fun and busy as usual… Here is a photo of me and Julie who helps me at every show…we take turns working and shopping hee hee… I was helping a customer for about 15 mins…she was picking out a few pair of earrings trying to decide which ones she wanted….then when we were writing up her purchase I glanced up and realized she was wearing one of my new designs which was a one of a kind!  I said, hey where did you buy your necklace?  She said I was looking at your jewelry style and wondered if this was one of your pieces but figured you would say something if it was!!  She had bought it at Pappagallo…it was nice to meet a customer who enjoys my jewelry she said she wears it all the time!

The booth was filled with shoppers on Saturday…

Nothing like Sassy hair!  Here is another really cute haircut I gave one of my friends last week…

She asked for short and stacked in the back with a strong swing to the front…she has a jump start on Summer and we haven’t even entered Spring!

Simple quick breakfast…Gluten-free oatmeal with almond milk and fresh berries topped off with a honey drizzle…

For dinner it was stir fry… Green beans with shiitake mushrooms served with Szechuan Pork over brown rice…To make the green beans Blanch first in boiling water for 2 mins. then dunk in ice water to stop cooking drain set aside…in a large pan or wok add a bit of canola oil and some sesame oil heat on med. add a bit of minced garlic and ginger some chopped onion cook on med.high heat for a few mins….while thats cooking mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup chicken or veggie broth and 1 tsp. cooking wine or cooking sherry…to that 1 tsp. corn starch and 1 tsp. chili sauce (such as Sriracha) you could also add 1 tsp black bean paste if you would like mix well. Add your mushrooms to the pan stir fry with onion mix about 2 mins… then add a little more oil if needed and your green beans stir fry about 3-4 mins on med high heat mix sauce and add sauce will start to bubble and thicken  keep stirring to coat well remove from heat and enjoy!  Remember to taste test your green beans you want then to still have a bit of crispness but you may prefer them soft so just cook a bit longer…And remember cooking is not science it should be fun try new recipes and enjoy!

For a light dessert we had a mix of fresh berries with some coconut milk, honey and a dash of cinnamon….yummy….

Yesterday I cut a few of my friends hair some got trims and shape ups…but one friend wanted a haircut!!  Woo hoo music to a stylist ears short and  stacked you say?… fun…We forgot to do a before but if you look at my post on Milk and Honey Boutique there is a side shot of my friends hair a couple weeks ago…
